While working on the Queens Garden quilting, I pulled out the Stonehenge fabric picked up during my trip to New York last summer. Stonehenge is not readily available in my area. We had wandered into a wonderful shop called Patchwork Angel in Endicott, NY during our vacation, a shop stuffed to the rafters with fabric. Their Stonehenge collection was huge, covering 3 walls and I lost myself for a bit in the intense colors. How perfect, I thought, for On My Window Flowers Bloom.
Two panels of the Esther Aliu are now finished and the third of five begun. Its a combination of turned and raw edge, stitched with Sulky poly and Superior Threads Metallic in rose gold.
Looking fabulous
