Finally! The Machine Quilting Tutorials with Jeanne Harrison fall Challenge is completed and I can now show you my entry. Miss Jeanne is a fabulous free motion quilting instructor and all her materials are free to FB members.
My entry was quilted on my Babylock Tiara sitdown quilting machine. All freemotion quilting, with rulers used to draw the lines along the pebbles. No templates were used. It is also the first time I attempted a feather in a square and am very pleased with the results. The lace used for the table runner borders is a remnant from my daughter’s wedding dress, which I made for her 18 years ago. Hard to believe its been that long! The batting is bamboo with a layer of Insulbrite, which means we can put very hot items right on the runner and the table is protected.
Your runner is beautiful! I love the idea of using Insulbrite so you can protect your table from hot items, too.

What a lovely runner, and a great idea to insulate it to be able to use it with out worrying. Im still sitting on the fence regarding machine quilting but I have so many quilt tops I will have to learn more about machine quilting too. Love the centre piece it flows so nicely. I like pebbles so much but mine never look like pebbles LOL Cheers Glenda

Thank you, Glenda! I have been doing machine quilting for about three years. Glad you like my pebbles as I was really excited about how they turned out.

Having read this I thought it was really enlightening. I appreciate you taking the time and effort to put this informative article together. I once again find myself spending way too much time both reading and posting comments. But so what, it was still worth it!
