I had not intended to start another Esther Aliu design. I was working on Queen’s Garden and collecting fabric for On My Window Flowers Bloom. And then Esther released Juliette. I was smitten and the perfect fabric had been sitting in my stash for a couple years.
So Juliette burst through. This week I completed the top and sandwiched for quilting. I left the outside applique border off, to make a table cloth size. This is my second raw edge quilt. QG is turned edge, but I wanted to experiment with an Esther design in raw edge and see which I prefer
Adding the borders really brought Juliette into focus and I am delighted with this design. Hopefully I will find time to start quilting her this week.
Update! She is quilted! Still needs binding.
Thanks for dropping by! Lennea

Lennea, this is just stunning! What a cool, unexpected colorway! So that’s all fusible applique? I’ve never done that method for a whole quilt before, but I’m tempted to try it for Esther’s Queen’s Garden BOM.

Thank you! Yes. Its my first whole quilt with fusible qpplique! And then blanket stitched.
I am doing QG turned edge, but I have seen many raw edge QG and they look fantastic.

Thank you, Yvonne. This was fabric leftover from a previous project. And I like this project better!
